Dr. Andrews joined Allergy and Asthma Associated in 2004 after completing his fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1998. He completed a residency in pediatrics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 2001.
Dr. Andrews was born and raised in Annapolis and graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1988. He returns to Anne Arundel County after completing six years of active duty naval service followed by medical training. Dr. Andrews lives in Arnold with his wife and four children.
Dr. Andrews is on the medical staffs at Anne Arundel Medical Center and Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Dr. Banks is board certified in allergy and immunology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1977. He completed a residency in pediatrics also at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. A fellowship was completed in allergy and immunology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Banks has been practicing allergy and immunology with Allergy and Asthma Associates, P.A. since 1984.
Dr. Banks lives in Arnold with his wife and has three grown children.
Dr. Banks is on the medical staffs at Anne Arundel Medical and Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he also maintains a faculty appointment in the School of Medicine.

Our professional nursing staff is well trained in the specialty of allergy and asthma. Nursing tasks include preparing patients for the physician, skin testing, administering allergy injections, and overseeing many aspects of patient education. The nurses will also take your telephone calls for prescription refills, messages and updates for the physician, and all the other inquiries.
Maggie Traeger is a family practice nurse practitioner who joined Allergy and Asthma Associates in 2017 after moving to Annapolis from Michigan where she was born and raised. Maggie comes to us with extensive experience having worked with all ages in allergy specialty care at Grand Rapids Allergy.
She graduated Summa cum laude from the University of Michigan in 2006. Following graduation, Maggie worked in a variety of settings including as a public health nurse. Maggie ran a school-based health clinic in Georgia where she developed food allergy safety policies that were implemented district-wide. In 2014, Maggie graduated from Georgetown University with a master of science in nursing degree.
Maggie lives in Annapolis with her husband, an Air Force JAG, and their young son.
